Pico da Antónia is Santiago's tallest mountain located in the central part of the island in Cape Verde. It is ranked before Serra da Malagueta in the north of the island. The area within the peak and its mountain range are part of the national park of the same name. The area surrounding the mountain is rocky and grassy with a couple of forests in its valley and the low-lying areas, grasslands and plants dominate the middle part and rocks within the summit of the peak. The mountain is entirely of volcanic origin. The mountain has some roads around the mountain but does not access the peak. The panorama offers a view to the central part of the island and its surrounding mountains and hills. Assomada lies close to the mountain as well as the Tarrafal–Assomada Road.
